Janice K. Cunningham of Mallory, Cunningham, Lapka, Scott & Selin P.L.L.C. practices exclusively in the area of domestic relations. Ms. Cunningham is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). Ms. Cunningham serves an adjunct faculty member at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School where she teaches Family Law and Law Office Management. She was the 2004 recipient of the Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Award. She is a trained mediator for divorce and custody cases and serves on the mediator list for Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties. Ms. Cunningham was appointed by the Michigan Supreme Court to serve as hearing panelist for the Attorney Discipline Board and Family law Forms Committee for the State Court Administrator’s Office. Ms. Cunningham currently sits on the Bench/Bar Committee for Ingham county and is member of the Woman Lawyer’s Association of Michigan.

Ms. Cunningham is a former council member of the State Bar of Michigan, Family Law Section, Co-Chair of the Ingham County Bar Association, Family Law Section, past chair of Friend of the Court Advisory Board to the Friend of the Court Bureau and board member for Elderly Law Clinic.

She has lectured on family law issues for the Michigan Judicial Institute, the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the State Bar of Michigan, Family Law Section and Ingham County Bar Association. Ms. Cunningham has also authored numerous articles in the area of family law.

Ms. Cunningham is also involved in her community where she has been an elected trustee for the past thirteen years to the Delta Township Board of Trustees and is one of the founding members of the Waverly Education Foundation. She and her husband have three children who are active in school and extra-curricular activities including band, theater and sports.
